Prenatal Yoga is a great way to stay active during pregnancy. It’s both gentle and low impact, while offering physical and mental benefits.
Anne Hill Enrichment Centre would like to announce that we now offer Prenatal Yoga to support our future mothers to have a better childbirth, as well as better health in general.

Much like other types of childbirth-preparation classes, prenatal yoga is a multifaceted approach to exercise that encourages stretching, mental centering and focused breathing. Research suggests that prenatal yoga is safe and can have many benefits for pregnant women and their babies.

These are the benefits you can receive from Prenatal Yoga class:

  • Improve circulation
  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Increase the strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth
  • Decrease lower back pain, nausea, headaches and shortness of breath

Prenatal yoga can also help you meet and bond with other pregnant women and prepare for the stress of being a new parent.

Mr. Barun Patra has 22 years of experience in teaching and practicing yoga. He is a certified yoga instructor from the World Yoga Society, and the Best Yoga Coach from the Yoga Physical & Massage Therapy Training Course in 2014. He is also a certified Ashtanga & Vinyasa Yoga master, followed the standards of Yoga Alliance USA.
Mr. Barun is motivated, devoted, professional, hard-working & innovative person. He has a true passion in teaching, wanting to educate and inspire others to maintain good health, as well as youth, and well-being in life.
